A poem a day…
it takes less than a minute most days.
Yet it enriches our thoughts immensely.
Here is one I just loved from our our Poet this term, Sara Teasdale.
Faults
by Sara Teasdale
They came to tell your faults to me,
They named them over one by one,
I laughed aloud when they were done;
I knew them all so well before, –
Oh they were blind, too blind to see
Your faults had made me love you more.
Precious.
glad you shared! that is lovely…
Lovely. The idea of a poem a day and the reminder of how little time that takes but how profound….inspires me so! Thanks for sharing.
